Terms of Service - Cipher Archives

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the Cipher Archives application and website ("the App," "the Service"). The App is operated by Bur Oak Management ("the Operator"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Cipher Archives is a media production and publishing platform that produces and distributes content covering finance, economics, history, government, and artificial intelligence. The App uses the YouTube Data API v3 and related Google API Services to manage the Operator's own YouTube channel, including uploading videos, setting metadata, scheduling publish times, and reviewing analytics on the Operator's own content.

3. Eligibility and Authorized Use

The App's YouTube automation functionality is intended for use by the Operator only. No other person or entity is authorized to use, access, or trigger the App's automated publishing features. The website at cipherarchives.com is publicly accessible for informational and compliance purposes.

4. Intellectual Property

All content published by Cipher Archives, including but not limited to videos, scripts, graphics, audio, and written analysis, is the intellectual property of Bur Oak Management unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission, except as permitted by fair use under applicable copyright law.

5. User Conduct

Visitors to this website agree not to:

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, its servers, or any connected systems.
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from any part of the Service.

6. YouTube API Compliance

The App is operated in compliance with the YouTube API Services Terms of Service and the Google API Services User Data Policy. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a Google or YouTube policy, the Google or YouTube policy controls.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted operation.

The Operator's total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed one United States dollar (USD $1.00).

10. Termination

The Operator may suspend, modify, or terminate any aspect of the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Sections 7, 8, 11, and 12 survive termination.

11. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Iowa.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Cipher Archives Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement governing use of the Service and supersede any prior agreement on the subject matter.

13. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The Effective Date at the top will be revised whenever a material change is made. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
